Education  

Don Johnson Jr. has a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Golden Gate University School of Law .  He was a merit scholar and also received the Kevin J. Connell memorial scholarship.  Golden Gate University School of Law was founded in 1901, and is fully accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) and the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State of California.  Mr. Johnson also studied European Union law and Remedies at the University of Paris X .  After taking every family law course available, he continued to pursue his studies in family law by working in the Unified Family Court in San Francisco 
    Don Johnson Jr. earned a Bachelor in Science from the University of New Mexico Graduating Cum Laude overall and Cum Laude in Psychology, Mr. Johnson was in the top 10% of his class and held a 4.0 GPA in his major.  Mr. Johnson was president of the psychology honors society, vice president of Delta Sigma Phi and Golden Key recipient.

Don Johnson Jr. is licensed to practice law in the state of CaliforniaThe Pueblo of Isleta Tribal Courts, the state of New Mexico and is an accredited attorney for the preparation, presentation and prosecution of claims for veterans benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). 
    
Before joining Johnson Family Law P.C., Mr. Johnson owned a law office in Oakland, California and San Francisco, California.  The Law Office of Don Johnson Jr. focused on cases in Family Law and Criminal Defense.  
    
Mr. Johnson brings a wealth of experience to Johnson Family Law P.C.  Having served over nine years in the United States Navy as an Officer, he has held several positions.

    Mr. Johnson served as a helicopter pilot in Northern Edge 2001, which was Alaska's premier joint training exercise designed to practice operations, techniques, procedures, test the latest defense systems and enhance interoperability among the services.
    He also served as a helicopter pilot in Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training 2000.  “CARAT 2000” was a series of bilateral exercises designed to increase U.S. Sailors' understanding of Southeast Asian cultures in the event the navies are called upon to work together in real-world operations.
