Education
Don Johnson Jr. has a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Golden Gate University School of Law. He was a merit scholar and also received the Kevin J. Connell memorial scholarship. Golden Gate University School of Law was founded in 1901, and is fully accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) and the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State of California (www.ggu.edu/school_of_law). Mr. Johnson also studied European Union law and Remedies at the University of Paris X. While in law school Mr. Johnson served on the Moot Court board and worked as a professor’s assistant for Contracts. After taking every family law course available, he continued to pursue his studies in family law by working in the Unified Family Court in San Francisco.
Don Johnson Jr. earned a Bachelor in Science from the University of New Mexico (www.unm.edu). Graduating Cum Laude overall and Cum Laude in Psychology, Mr. Johnson was in the top 10% of his class and held a 4.0 GPA in his major. Mr. Johnson was president of the psychology honors society, vice president of Delta Sigma Phi (www.deltasig.org) and Golden Key recipient (www.goldenkey.org).
Experience
Don Johnson Jr. is licensed to practice law in the state of California and a member of the Alameda County Bar Association. He volunteers at the "Day in Court Clinic" in Oakland and Hayward. Before opening his law office Mr. Johnson worked for the Unified Family Court in San Francisco as a judicial extern and for Johnson Family Law LLP as a legal assistant.
